Today’s Eats-
Meal 1- 1 toast and 1TBSB natural peanut butter,a a few blackberries
Meal 2- 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1 tsp. Strawberry Crystal Lite crystals
Meal 3- Egg salad with nonfat mayo, on one peice muti-grain bread, variety od crudites

I have blamed carbs alot for weight gain, not totally. much belongs to fast food addiction. But I have been brainwashed that most carbs are bad. Bull shit. When I was a teenager, I ate what my mother cooked. Cereal and fruit for breakfast, chicken sandwich on TWO pieces bread, and for supper I had meat potatoes and vegies.
I WAS AN IDEAL WEIGHT! Ya, i know we get older our metabolism slows and as a teen I walked everywhere. But nonetheless, I was healthy, energetic and felt good. When I look at this diet, I see it is practically the Food Guide standards. Imagine. I already knew how to eat. A few grains, meat, fruit, vegetables. Even dessert a couple times a week for supper. What else did I do then different than now? I never ate fast food other than once a month, I didn’t drink diet pop or regular, I ate home made meals. When I was hungry I ate, something good, maybe a little muffin (not the jumbos of today) .
Geez, maybe I have always known how to be healthy without starving. WOnder if I can return the 500 bucks of diet books I bought over the years.
